Pretzels. Homemade, warm, buttery, salty pretzels.
Looking at our shelves, which at the beginning of the semester were stocked with an array of food items, we realized that we had nothing to eat for dinner. We have rice, tomatoes, fruit…but what is that? Flour? Salt? Yeast? Everything needed to make pretzels? Yes.
An hour later, I was pulling them out of the oven. Half were salty. The other half had cinnamon sugar on them.
Would it be difficult for you to decide? I think not.
I found a new recipe on pinterest and really wanted to try it out. The ones we made before weren’t as good as I expected.
Shout out to whoever created this recipe:

It was perfect.
A note: the oven has been working much better recently. If I haven’t told you, it’s basically a broiler most of the time. I don’t know if it was fixed, we learned how to properly use it, or what. Whatever it is, it’s working. The bottom half of the oven is getting hot. (Though, not when it’s below 200— Celsius, of course)
